STRATASculptures made of cardboard layers
Animals you build yourself. Slide dozens of cardboard layers onto pegs, glue them — and a sculpture you made with your own hands stands on your desk.

What STRATA is (and isn't)
Some would call it a 3D puzzle. But with a puzzle you search for where each piece goes — here you don't have to. Every layer is numbered and the pegs set it exactly in place. The result isn't a solved puzzle, it's a sculpture.
A sculpture, not a toy
A finished STRATA is a decoration for your shelf, desk or windowsill. Glued for good, it keeps its shape.
A kit, not a brain-teaser
Numbered pieces and step-by-step instructions. No guessing, just calm work with your hands.
Cardboard, not plastic
The sculpture, pegs and box are all cardboard — the same material we make our scratchers from.
How STRATA comes together
- 1
Pop out the layers
The corrugated layers come pre-cut in a sheet. Each has an engraved number, hidden so it can't be seen on the finished sculpture.
- 2
Slide them onto pegs
Pegs made of sturdy five-ply board run through the layers and hold them precisely in line. The shape builds itself.
- 3
Glue
Glue is in the box. It bonds the layers into one solid piece, and the outer layers hide the peg ends.
- 4
Display
From the side you see the animal's outline, from the front the rhythm of layers and the cardboard flutes.
Collection
Spin the sculptures with your finger. On your phone, tap "View in your room" and the sculpture appears at its real size right on your desk.
Loading 3D model…Why cardboard
Designed and cut by us
We design every model ourselves and cut it in the Czech Republic on our own machine — just like our NORA scratchers.
Light, yet solid
Glued layers of cardboard are surprisingly stiff. The sculpture weighs little and is easy to move around.
Recycle it with paper
No plastic parts. Cardboard is recycled together with paper.
